Hopefully having another rookie on his side of the infield will steer Barrero in the right direction.

This'll be the 1st game I watch in a while. Eager to see what Steer looks like. It's a big plus if he can stick in a starter or utility role.

Also looking forward to Cessa. He's slowly stretching out and was about 60 pitches last time. If he can become a 90-100 pitch guy he might become a viable 5/6th starter for next year.

Spencer Steer, making his MLB debut tonight, will play “as much as possible,” David Bell said, and all around the field.

Steer played second base, third base, shortstop, right field and first base in Triple-A.

Plus in the 2 spot, Farmer could give Steer some protection. But compared to some lineup decisions it is now worth having a cow over.
