#selltheteamBob and I might travel back to Cincy. Act like a minor league franchise, be treated like one. I’m not paying hundreds of dollars to travel to see a AAA team plus Joey Votto.

Sorry Joey you deserve better, much like Harang, Griffey, and Dunn (among others) before you.

    Re: Redsfest Is Back!

I'm curious how bad attendance will be for it this year. On some level, i hope the attendance is horrible, just to stick it to Bob and Phil. Also, in years past, they had the hot stove show with the front office. I'm curious if any fans will voice their frustrations at all? Or will it be the typical softball questions that doesn't hold the owners/front office accountable? I really hope they don't act like everything is peachy, because i have to believe most fans are frustrated with the owners l

I think if attendance is bad, it might send a message and create more bad PR for them. It's really a shame, because this has been a great event, especially for the kids. Too bad ownership has proceeded to piss off most of the fans who follow this team day in and day out.

I was hoping to see Votto listed as both a player and broadcaster.

If anyone gets a chance to ask a question of the front office, ask them this:

"Do you feel like you have an obligation to players like India or Greene to put a team capable of winning The World Series on the field every season? And if so, how do you explain the seeming lack of attempts over the past few seasons?"

To see Votto would be the only reason to go this event. He may be the last Reds HOFer in our lifetime or maybe ever.

I have Redsfest tickets available. Cheap. Let me know if you are wanting to attend and avoid the box office price.

Is it sad that after Votto the most relevant (in terms of 2022 entertainment) people at Reds Fest is going to be the Zach Miller Band....

All proceeds from Redsfest benefit the baseball-themed outreach programs of the Reds Community Fund. The fund's executive director Charley Frank says they are dedicated to getting kids aged four to 18 either back into baseball or softball or to strengthening the teams and organizations that they play for.

"It's a really simple mission of the community fund, the game really needs more young players these days, that's one of the biggest challenges facing the industry," Frank said.

Then they need to talk to ownership because not many kids are going to want to care for a team that losses 90-100 games yearly like this franchise has for long stretches.

He's kinda hard to see, but that is Elly De La Cruz, wearing sunglasses at the darkest part of the convention center.

He's a stud and he knows it. #Redsfest
