Ha! I forgot about the Harrison brothers. Like a blast from the past right there.

That UCONN team was nothing - 2nd best player was like Ryan Boatright. How did that team win it all???
What would you say.....ya do here?

Typical Cinderella team that got on a roll. Also helped that Willie Cauley-Stein was out for UK with a stress facture, IIRC.

Big12 starts off 1-0 in the Big12/SEC Challenge......WVU escapes with a 3 point win over Auburn after holding a double digit lead most of the game.

crushed them from the beginning.....Iowa State gets upset @ Mizzou. Anyone that has watched Missouri this season knows they are not an easy out at home. Texas Tech takes out LSU to give the Big12 a 3-1 edge through 4 games.

I forgot for just a second that Vanderbilt-Texas A-M isn’t part of the SEC-Big12 challenge.

Florida went 36-3 that year. We lost at Wisconsin in Nov and at UCONN in Dec then won 30 straight games before losing to UCONN again in the Final Four 63-53.

That UCONN team wasnt very memorable but Napier was able to rattle Scottie Wilbekin which was nearly impossible to do. I'd also say DeAndre Daniels was right there with Ryan Boatwright as the next best player(s) on that team.

That loss hurt. That '13/14 team Donovan built out of 3 and 4 year guys and was one of the best ever.

They beat Kentucky in the championship and that same Kentucky team was swept by Florida in the regular season and SEC Championship.

Both times Kentucky lost to UConn (2011 and 2014) the one thing I remember regardless of the coach was that UConn played very physical. Brandon Knight was so winded by the end of the game in 2011 that every shot he put up you knew wasn’t going in.

Kevin Ollie couldn’t recruit the same type of players that Calhoun could and that was his downfall. He won that championship with Calhouns players. Shabazz Napier was a freshman on the 2011 team.

The Big East falling apart made it impossible for Ollie. Now that they're back in the Big East they'll be fine. Not likely to repeat that run under Calhoun (those runs are rare for EVERYONE), but they're back to being UConn again.

That 2011 team with Lamb and Kemba was fun to watch. That was the tournament Florida lost in OT to Butler in the Elite 8. Another missed opportunity, especially with play in team VCU waiting in the Final 4.

I thought Brandon Knight was going to be a special NBA player after that season with UK. Wouldve helped if Kanter were eligible but the positive for UK was Jones and Lamb staying and not going one and done which made that 2012 team one of the best ive ever seen.

UConn's women lost back to back games for the first time in 30 years with losses to South Carolina over the weekend and Marquette last night. 30 years! That's absurd.

I think this may have been the craziest ending to a basketball game I've ever seen. And I've seen some bizarre stuff in over 50 years. Did anyone see this game between Pepperdine and Portland out in Malibu? The late , great Jack Buck's words came to mind---"I can't believe what I just saw."

And that's the only conference win of the season so far for Lorenzo Romar's Pepperdine Waves.

My Vols just suffered two straight buzzer beater 3 pt shot, 1 pt losses this week. Crazy. How will they respond? They've got a couple guys hurt. This isn't looking good going into the home stretch. Fortunately baseball season is about to begin

That is the great thing about CBB. You can lay eggs during the season and still win the championship.
