That kind of futility can only lead to disaster. It'd be better if he wasn't playing at all than to play and get results like that. He needs to see success, and that means some Fall/Winter baseball before AAA next season, or a trade to another team for a Relief pitcher.

I couldn't agree more. Also, to keep running him out there as a starter is not fair to the man himself. No one should have to endure
that kind of embarrassment in public. It is puzzling how the player of the year in the minors could so quickly lose his touch.
