If a Pitcher can keep the ball high and inside, even in the strike zone, to Friedl, they're pretty safe.

Sounds like Barrero should have gotten two errors that inning and that Brantley was wrong.

Doesn't hardly seem fair that both errors scored in the 5th were attributed to players that didn't deserve them, and that both runs scored in the inning were earned runs!

I don't think I've ever seen a player with 273 PA's in the Majors and an OPS of .439 wear a uniform in the Major Leagues.

That exit velocity by Aquino was 113.6.

That type of EV usually results in a HR.

The Launch Angle was only 4, though.

Had it gone directly at a player, it might have caused damage.

Barrero: takes two right down Broadway, and then swings at something 3 feet outside.

At-bats like that make me think that 0.395 OPS isn't an accident, and that the future isn't rosy.

That kind of futility can only lead to disaster. It'd be better if he wasn't playing at all than to play and get results like that. He needs to see success, and that means some Fall/Winter baseball before AAA next season, or a trade to another team for a Relief pitcher.
