I don’t think games are outright fixed or anything but I do think the NFL occasionally puts their finger on the scale with the help of the officials.

Even with replay, the officials make some of the most baffling calls at times and it always seems to help certain teams and go against other “lesser” teams.

I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve watched the Pittsburgh Steelers go into the final 2 minutes trailing by a touchdown or less and suddenly things that have been going on the entire game are now defensive holding, pass interference, etc.

    It’s definitely there.

I thought it was fixed until the Bengals made the Super Bowl but everything you posted is pretty spot on.

Some teams and players get the calls but it’s far from rigged. Players choke, aka Patrick Mahomes last year in the AFC Championship game. Who do you think the NFL would have rather had in the Super Bowl? I’ll give you a hint, not Cincinnati.

Fumble in the backfield somehow turns into a huge gain.

    Not great tackling.

    No surprise, Mixon loses yardage.

We have one of the most talented offenses in the NFL and I have such little faith in them.

    That’s a problem.
