And Votto talks about his freshly shaved chest. Kinky.

That was cool. I can't quit this stupid team. I love Joey Votto more than life itself. Those are my takes.

I’ve been mostly away for a couple of weeks because I couldn’t stand the weak lineups and pitching. Tonight was fun in a frustrating way. I was going to watch the last game, but turned it on and it was 2-0, but Chuckie was at bat and tied it up. Then, the magic of Steele walked it off. It made my day. Not much of that this year. I’m not hopeful for 2023. Sadly.

Good night for the Reds rookies !!!
Barrero 2 out walk ahead of Chuckie's game tying HR.
Fairchild walk ahead of the Steer walks off Double.
Diaz stopping the Cubs rally and getting the Win

Fine night by the rookies !!!

By the way, Joey’s nipple remark was vintage Votto.

    Reds beat Cubs 3-2.

Spencer Steer walked it off with a one bounce rocket off the wall in CF to score Stuart Fairchild

    Trailed 2-0 B7.

    Chuckie Robinson 2 hits, game-tying 2-run HR 7th

    Cessa 5 IN, 1 H, 1 R

    Diaz 1.1 IN, win.

    62-99….one game remaining.

I think he brings potential rotation value as a #5 guy.
Cessa had 8 starts once he was stretched out. 41 innings, 3.51 ERA, 1.07 WHIP. Perfectly fine for BOR arm. He'd have inside track for 5th spot next year IMO. Man, the Reds could really use a veteran workhorse next year to slot everyone in right place. Greene,.Lodolo, FA, Ashcraft, Cessa/Overton could be quite good.

I agree totally. One thing that does excite me for 2023 is the potential starting rotation.
