I voted Boyle. Once we got past Petty, no more prospects. Voting for suspects now. If Boyle finds a little bit of control, his upside is higher than anyone left.

This is a horribly reductive comment.

All prospects are suspects, and the Reds still have quite a few good ones.

I think the good ones are Marte, de La Cruz, McLain, Encarnacion-Strand, Arroyo, Collier and Petty. But all have flaws and none are sure things. After them we have guys with even more flaws and are missing the star level potential of those seven. Of that group, Boyle's stuff gives him star level potential if he can gain some control. I don't see any of the others becoming star level even if best case occurs. That isn't to say that can't be useful Major leaguers with long careers, but they all have to perform at the top end of their potential to do so. Guys like Marte and De La Cruz could probably still be very useful players even if they disappoint.

I voted Abbott. He's a lefty that throws strikes and has a number of ways to get hitters out. His adjustment period in Chattanooga was worrisome, and I think he's a guy who will have to add wrinkles and adjust as he moves up.

Boyle is an interesting prospect, I'm fine with him going here. He has a huge, glaring weakness - control - but the rest of him is really fun to dream on. If he's not in your top-30 you're a very, very grouchy Reds fan.

After Abbott goes I'll be picking Jay Allen II.

    Abbott again. I think he's a survivor.

I voted for Boyle all the way up at #8 so I won’t change now. I think Sal Stewart went lower than I would rank him and I never even got a chance to vote for him.

It's time for Jay Allen. Lackluster first full season but he was still just a teenager. Plenty of tools.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Voted for Abbott. Can’t let Boyle walk off with it.

Going with Stoudt. Like him better than any of the arms in the system other than Petty.

Because he was developed in another organization like Petty? Actually, you may be on to something.

I mean … I like the 3 arms the Reds just developed and graduated (Lodolo, Greene, and Ashcraft) better than anyone in the pipeline right now … sooo …

Abbott. Look at those K/9 ratios. Two disastrous AA starts skewed his overall numbers in Chattanooga.
