I know MLB Network announced the names of all the team reps, but I already forgot who the Reds guy is. Nevertheless, he has an uncanny resemblance to a modern day Larry Sellers. Just stonewalling that camera as it panned by with our drop down to pick #7.

    You see what happens, Larry?!

It’s ok. The #7 guy may not be so demanding in arbitration. In 2030 or 2031.

    For the record:

Lodolo was the last #7 overall pick the Reds had.
    Stephenson was #11
    India #5

The draft lottery went the same as any coin flip the Reds have had, like losing the flip in 99 and having to play the Mets in NY.
Reds fan since 1968 win or lose.

This franchise has turned into straight ass. What a joke this once proud franchise has become.

Oh well. Is what it is. I'm hoping Enrique Bradfield, Jr. (CF) Vanderbilt is still there at pick 7. Great speed, solid bat. Plus D at maybe the thinnest spot in the organization after Catcher. Solid college program. Could move fast and reach the show by late '25/early '26.

It will absolutely not convince them of anything.

Teams like the Reds and Pirates aren’t tanking to get good picks at this point. They are tanking because it’s cheap.

Oakland finished in the bottom 3 and are picking 6th.

It’s facinating how little most people understand how statistics and odds work
