Glaring omissions: Carlos Jorge (he’s getting some votes, at least), Almonte, Balcazar, Justin Boyd (#2 round pick, batted .373 for Oregon in 2022), Bryce Hubbart. Other than this board, these guys are rated higher than Boyle, Stoudt, Siani, Hendrick, Roa and Richardson (he’s not in anyones top 30 even)
Picking a couple guys that are out of line with the rest of the world is interesting and idiosyncratic. But elevating this many prospects with significant risks signifies knowledge gaps. Of course, that only matters if data science and using knowledge and information to predict future outcomes is important to you.

If you're wondering who the one person voting for Yerlin the last few rounds has been...it's me.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

While I haven’t voted for Confidan yet, I do like him as a prospect and would have probably had him just outside my top 15. But, I voted for Cabrera for a long stretch and will be doing the same with Jorge now it appears. I would have all three well ahead and some of the more recent selections.

You wrote off 19-year-old Jay Allen for only managing a .670 OPS between the A leagues but are now pumping up Justin Boyd who at 21 barfed up a .502 OPS in Dayton. Alright.

I rate Allen higher than Boyd. I Didn’t “write him off”. I don’t use those words.

I have Yerlin ahead of Hinds and Hendrick and Lyon Richardson but I’ve been voting Javi Rivera

“The guys we've had for the most part have been serviceable at this level.”
