Do you all remember the January two years later? Saw a terrible crash (and I couldn't help but laugh). My ear pressed against the past like a glass on a wall of a house in a photograph.

I remember the one four years later, Bengals playoff, even colder than 1977 and cold enough to make that my last winter in Ohio

I certainly don’t miss Cincinnati winters either. Watching the highlights of the Freezer Bowl is crazy with -59 degree real feel with the high winds that day. And, that AstroTurf field looked less forgiving than concrete. Those poor players probably suffered the effects of that game for months.

Seems January of 77 was the king of cold weather. Minus 25 degrees Fahrenheit one day

I remember a 10-day period in Indianapolis in November of 1980 where it never got above 0 degrees. Windchills were in the -30's to -50's for 10 straight days. I imagine it must have been pretty cold in Cincinnati at that same time.

It was around Thanksgiving. I was at Fort Ben Harrison. My buddy from Missouri and I were two of the few who didn't go on leave. We flipped a coin on Thanksgiving to see who does the 12-block roundtrip walk to get a case of beer. I lost. Don't care how cold and miserable it was,...we weren't going to be spiritless on Thanksgiving.

I remember a day in 77 or 78 where there was like a foot of snow on the ground but somehow the temps got up enough to melt snow for a few hours, then it dipped below freezing and there was a solid sheet of ice on top of the snow. You then couldn't play in it, it was awful.
