I am of the belief that no NFL teams want Jim Harbaugh.

In passing they also wondered whether John Harbaugh might think 15 years is enough. But they assumed not.

I'd be real surprised at Washington letting Rivera go.

The Saints are retaining Dennis Allen. Good news for the rest of the NFC South.

Supposedly Sean Payton lives like three miles from the Chargers new practice facility that’s being built. He’s being courted heavily by Denver but his eye is on the Chargers.

The question is would Dean Spanos, the West Coast Mike Brown, make that hire?

I think LAC is Payton's best fit

I am a bit surprised Jon Harbaughs seat isn’t getting warm…his abysmal clock management last night was unreal.

    Frank Reich to Carolina.

I could see this working out as long as he settles on a QB.

Word came out that Payton is sour on the Broncos' Ownership Group fearing a power struggle would make things difficult to get things done.

He's in Arizona today for an afternoon interview.

    Agree about Reich.

Payton seems to be an incredible game-planner and motivator. It seems that he would have to be considered as a Super Bowl contender whenever he's Coaching and involved heavily on the addition of players to a team. There's no way that Russell Wilson plays the way he did with Sean Payton as his Head Coach. He wouldn't have been stupid enough to give him all of that money in the first place, though. Anyone who played Fantasy Football knew that Russell Wilson was declining fast.

    Re: 2023 NFL Coaching Carousel

Seattle is in no hurry to ink Geno Smith to a contract. They'll get one done, but they are definitely drafting a Quarterback. Drew Lock should see the door as he's a Free Agent. The Seahawks need some legitimate upside at the QB position as a backup to Geno Smith for next season. Pete Carroll seems to be pretty good at developing QB's, so a 3rd Round QB would be a decent pick for them. Brock Purdy was a 6th Round pick, so anything's possible in a good system with talent around the QB position. The problem is that the Seahawks do not have a Trent Williams at LT (and other quality Linemen to make life easy for a QB). One of the reasons Goff looks so good is because he has a Top-3 Offensive Line in front of him.

Not surprised about the NFL teams hiring guys who have been fired but good grief what do people see in Reich? Pederson's work in Jacksonville makes it even more clear that he was the brains in that operation.
