You would think being down to your 3rd string QB would spell the end of your season...Brock Purdy makes the Niners the favorites in the NFC in my opinion. How he slid that far based on how he has been playing blows my mind.

It’s incredibly possible to think that both Jimmy G and Trey Lance could be available this offseason. Definitely Jimmy G. Maybe not Lance, it’s possible they could keep him as the backup but they’ll eventually have to make a decision. He’s heading toward Jordan Love purgatory otherwise.

If I remember correctly, he was considered one of the better QB prospects prior to the start of his senior season, but Iowa State ended up being a big disappointment that year. He still played well, though.

I feel for Jags fans. Tough to have this happen after a playoff drought. It’s still a ballgame but they better figure things out quick.
