#25. RH pitcher Julian Aguiar was a 12th round selection in for 2021 draft. He only pitched 8.2 innings that season in the Arizona Complex league. Not enough for me to waste my time posting his stats.

In 2022 Julian started the season in Daytona. 23 games, 88.1 IP, 3.16 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 103 SO, 22 BB

He was promoted to Dayton where he made 2 more starts. 8 IP, 6.65 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, 10 SO, 5 BB.

Julian’s FB is low to mid 90s. Also throws a slider and changeup.

#24 Javi Rivera, RH pitcher, was drafted in 2021 but didn’t make his professional debut till 2022 with the Daytona Tortugas.

24 G, 93 IP, 25 BB, 111 Ks
3.29 ERA, 0.99 WHIP

Javi has 4 pitches a fastball in the low 90s,a slider, a curve ball and a change up. Nothing really sticks out except his control. I love his WHIP, SO% and BB%

Javi should start next season in Dayton who should have a very good rotation.

#23. Jay Allen, RH centerfielder, was a supplemental pick in 2021. Upon joining the Reds organization he was assigned to the Arizona Complex League where he would play in 19 games, 75 plate appearances.
328/440/557/997 with 14 SB and 3 HR, 8 BB, 12 SO

Jay started the 2022 season in Low A, Daytona where he would play in 73 games. 299 plate appearances.
224/359/332/691 with 32 SB and 3 HR. 40 BB, 73 SO before being promoted to Dayton where he would play 18 more games. 84 plate appearances
230/301/299/599 with 12 SB and no HRs. 4 BB, 19 SO
Combined, Jay’s 2022 stats were
225/347/324/671
11.5 BB%, 24.0 SO%, 3 HR, 43 SB

Jay has above average speed and is considered a good defensive player. He’s only 20 years old so he has time to tap into a little more power and become more consistent with the bat.

#22 Allan Cerda 23 Y/O, RH, outfielder, was born in Bronx NY. Signed as an international FA in 2018.

Allan began his professional career for the DSL Reds in 2018 where he hit 272/402/439/841 with 25 BB and 45 SO in 214 PA. He had 6 HR and 3 SB.

In 2019 Allan would move up to play for the Greeneville Reds (Rookie League) where he would play 39 games with 165 PA. 220/360/470/830 with 20 BB and 56 SO. 9 HR, 2 SB

After missing the 2020 season due to Covid Allan would move up to Daytona to begin the 2021 season. He would play 66 games, 276 plate appearances. 242/362/524/886 with 31 BB, 85 SO, 14 HR, 1 SB
He would move up to Dayton that season for 21 games, 87 plate appearances. 273/356/520/876 with 10 BB, 20 SO, 3 HR, 1 SB
For the season. 259/361/523/884 with 41 BB, 105 SO, 17 HR, 2 SB ( he was caught stealing 8 times )

In 2022 Allan would begin the season back in Dayton, 62 games, 249 plate appearances. 219/370/488/857 with 13 HR, 3 SB, 42 BB, 91 SO
Allan would finish the season in AA Chattanooga, 62 games, 257 plate appearances 198/350/401/751 with 11 HR, 4 SB, 42 BB, 77 SO.
Combined stats
208/360/444/804 with 24 HR, 7 SB, 84 BB, 168 SO
In 2022 Allan hit 129/284/302 with 39% SO %. 6 HR against LH pitchers. Against RH pitchers he hit 240/389/509 with a 31% SO%. 18 HR
Allan is considered a good defensive
centerfielder. He needs to get his SO % down some but his BB% helps make it palatable, if he could get his BA up.

#21 Bryce Bonnin, RH pitcher, was selected in the 3rd round of the 2020 draft. He wouldn’t see the field untill 2021 when he would make one start in the Arizona Complex League (4 IP) before moving on to Daytona.
Bryce would play 7 games in Daytona, all of them starts. 32 IP, 8 BB, 44 SO, 0.81 WHIP, 1.41 ERA Before being promoted to Dayton for 3 games, all starts. 11 IP, 8 BB, 20 SO, 1.36 WHIP, 7.36 ERA

Bryce would start the 2022 season in Dayton where he would play 6 games. 5 of them starts. 25 IP before ending the season on the DL. 12 BB, 28 SO, 0.92 WHIP, 2.52 ERA

Bryce has a mid 90s fastball and a good slider. He also throws a changeup and curve that needs work. I think his injury was his shoulder but not sure. They are a lot more serious than the elbow now days. I hope he’s healthy to start the season.
