2020 - stood pat in what may go down as the best draft in team history.

2021 - traded back in the second round to pick up two 4th rounders and then took Carmen (ugh).

2022 - traded up in the second to get CTB.

I remember the Bengals used to draft Bearcats. Greg Cook the most famous one. Then some mediocre ones in the 90s. Then they stayed away from some good ones. The obvious ones being the Kelce brothers. Why are they loathe to draft or even sign them as UFA? That LB would have been nice as a UFA.

Shedrick Jackson is Bo Jackson's nephew and Shaka Heyward is related to Cam Heyward.

    Kirkland could be interesting.

He’s not going to lose that much money. He’s not really been a good LT to begin with. Average at best. More confident in his abilities than production.

His attitude in contrast to Whitworth, who was moved to G after being drafted as a T, yet he can’t even be bothered to consider a move to RT. Good riddance. But Bengals don’t like players who pull this stuff. They would have been better off trading him for 4th or 5th. Signing another T. Drafting one. Maybe even ask for a 3rd if the pay half his salary.
