Some teams have 30 spring training games available to their fans. The Reds consistently have 6-8 broadcasts during the spring.

Incredibly frustrating that you can stream high school junior varsity games but MLB games in spring training? Good luck.

    THIS DATE IN REDS HISTORY
Feb. 7, 1936: Reds players, coaches and officials set sail on a ship from New York to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for Spring Training. They opened their camp three days later.

Set sail on a ship? Glad they didn't run into pirates. If they did Clint Hurdle would have had them throwing balls at Ernie Lombardi's head.

    Re: Reds Spring Training 2023

I read somewhere that Nike will reveal the Reds City Connect uniforms this Spring and the Reds would probably wear them on Friday home games.

Now I can't find that statement or any article about the Reds City Connect uniforms. Has anyone else heard or read anything about those uniforms?

The idea of drafting so many short stops is if a player is athletic enough to play SS he could pretty much play any other position
If you're gonna stock the farm with one position, SSain't a bad choice at all.

I'd still love to see them acquire at least one actual young OF (right or center) who is MLB-ready with upside and control before OD.

If we are making impossible wishes, why not just wish the Angels trade Trout and Ohtani for some Skyline while you’re at it?

Bobby Nightengale Twitter: Reds pitcher Tejay Antone announced on Instagram he won’t be ready for the start of the 2023 season. He said he had a PRP injection today for a flexor strain.

    Re: Reds Spring Training 2023

I see 3 Reds in the WBC right now - Sanmartin, Cessa, and Donovan Benoit. I doubt Benoit was going to be in camp. I assume the Reds keep a couple extra pitchers in camp through the end of the tournament - the competition for the last spot or two in the bullpen could be interesting through the entirety of camp.

Tejay Antone announced on the gram that he probably won’t be ready until the second half.
