If we were to squeeze an individual in, then I would offer up the name of Randy Bachman. He was a member of both The Guess Who and BTO. Bachman was an integral member of two bands, who combined, put up hit after hit for the better part of a decade.

And just because I respect the rule of three.

    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

FWIW I find the moving target of HOF ratings, stupid, popularity plays into the R&R HOF, mostly because musical taste is like a flavor profile.

That's why Zappa gets talked about with Crosby, Stills and Nash (outside of the fact that he and them and a couple of the Monkees all lived in the same neighborhood)

That said... The Smiths aren't in?

    Jesus, just shut it down

BTW not having the Monkees in the HOF is criminal. They invented the stadium show and had numerous hits, Dolenz was the first rocker to own a Moog as well

I totally agree about the Monkees

I blame The Cure. It's just confusing.

I'm hardly an expert, but I totally agree that The Monkees should be in.
Another group I think should be in are The Bangles. I could offer several reasons, but I will be succinct: Susanna Hoffs.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."

I'll go a little further back than some of you whippersnappers.

So,he did a lot of covers. Nobody objected when Linda Ronstadt was inducted. I'm guessing there's a secret agent man keeping him out.

I really hope you are talking about these Impossibles

Posing as a trio of young rock 'n roll musicians, The Impossibles were actually crime fighters, with superpowers, dedicated to battling evil supervillains of all shapes and sizes
