    He had a sub-2 ERA last year and is being discussed as a weekend starter at LSU. He'll get his shot to play professionally. Whether he's a real MLB prospect....not sure about that.

    It might serve him well to get a nice degree in a major league city...

    LSU is a great college and has a ton of appeal on it's own for young men and women. The athletic teams are a bonus.

    I think you're both wrong, honestly. Both are fine places and schools depending on what you're looking for. I supect Loer's move has a lot more to do with baseball (and maybe some NIL money) than anything else, though.

    I guess I was overestimating the education he'd get at Xavier. Kudos to LSU if they're that strong
