Contrary to the opinion I have formed of him this season , Myers apparently has at least one stone... a kidney stone.

When I first saw this thread title, of course the line went in my head, "Who's he going to have take his spot in the lineup?"
"One problem with people who have no vices is that they're pretty sure to have some annoying virtues."
The best way Myers could add power to the lineup is get released and they bring up Elly.

Wil Myers: “I have a left shoulder sprain. I went down three days ago in Louisville and took some BP. Even with a two-handed finish, I could feel it at the end of my swing. I knew if I got into a game –– I was going to play in the (Bats) game the next day –– if I would have had a one-handed finish on a tough pitch, I would have made it a lot worse. I got the MRI, hopefully we’ll rehab through this homestand and hopefully leave after this homestead to go on a rehab (assignment). Best case scenario, maybe meeting the team in Houston (June 16). If not, maybe right when the team gets back (June 19).”

Today, Wil Myers officially achieves the holy grail for Players: 10 Years of Service Time! The
@Reds outfielder reflects on what hitting this milestone means to him.
Congratulations, Wil!
I am impressed with the 43 days and just 1 day of service time:
“ A player only needs to be on the roster for 43 days to earn a lifetime pension. One day in MLB will give the player lifetime healthcare coverage. The minimum pension payout is $34000/yr, growing to $100,000/yr after ten years. Teams also contribute to an individual’s own retirement (401K) plan. “
