    Good point.

    Arroyo and Sal Stewart?

I'd do that as well. I'd guess that they'd want some pitching back, but who knows. I'd rather trade Stoudt and Richardson and keep Stewart if I could.

Both Stoudt and Richardson are 40-man guys.

Tampa is looking to get rid of some 40-man roster filler.

OK. Boyle and Bonin instead of Stewart.

Marte straight up for Bradley. That may not be enough, but it would be close.

That one hurts, but I think Bradley could be the 3rd starter slotting between Lodolo and Ashcraft. Much more likely than any in house guy. I'd reluctantly do it. I'd rather trade Arroyo and stuff.

I'd do Arroyo and Abbott for Bradley, but I doubt the Rays would. Marte and a non top 10 guy would be ok with me. Bradley has already pitched well in AAA at age 21 ,and the Reds just don't have a SP prospect at that level. Petty could get there, but he's a few years away.

Alexis Diaz's middle name is Omar. Omar for Bradley would be logical.

Edit: I looked up more about Bradley. I would be shocked if the Rays moved him. If they did the price would be something the Reds should not pay at this stage of this rebuild.

Arroyo, Stewart and Phillips for Taj Bradley.

I suspect that's too high a price to pay for the Reds.

    Next up:

    San Diego

Any combination of would-be SP Pedro Avila, Adrian Morejon, Jay Groome, and Ryan Weathers.

All are on the 40-man roster. Pads looking to cut at least one spot to make decisions more manageable, so they're looking for young assets.

They could also use an OF/DH and perhaps a utility glove (at least in the early going) at the major league level.

Nick Senzel's utility glove sounds like their man. They can have him for anyone they want to dump who isn't a contract.

I'd be interested in Morejon. Carlos Jorge, Austin Hendrick and Ryan Cardona. Too much?? Not Enough?>

Senzel for Ryan Weathers should work.

Morejon, I think, is better thought of than that package would indicate. (And I really like Jorge.) The others, however, are flotsam.

I'd deal Senzel for Ryan Weathers immediately if that deal could be made. That's way more than I'd expect for him. I don't reallythink Weathers is good enough to make the reds roster, but he's 23 and has options. I'd take anyone like that for Senzel.

The Reds have McLain, Marte, CES and EDLC coming with guys like Pinder and Vosler as stopgaps. Is Steer too much for Morejon? Not enough?

I would look to trade for some non-stars on the Padres that are on decently significant deals. At some point they will look to shed some payroll. I would ask what it would take to get Ha-Seong Kim or Jake Cronenworth. I would trade quite a bit for either.
What would you say.....ya do here?
