[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
Nov. 13, 2007: One of the greatest days in Reds history: John Allen gets the boot!

I grew up on a farm. I have seen animals getting together In every position imaginable. Goat on chicken. Chicken on goat. Couple of chickens doing a goat. Pigs watching.
Forgiving the Castellinis is probably just a waste of time. The COO made stupid statements because he doesn't fully understand what it's like to be emotionally invested in a sports team for 60-some years like I have been. I've heard dumber stuff than that from people and almost all of it is connected to the premise that it's often better to remain silent than to appear to be witty and whimsical. The best approach is, "we're the best, always were and don't intend to change that."
It says nothing but nobody is confused either.
I don't need to forgive this ownership for anything. I want to see the team win games. Nothing more, nothing less. Owners are just the product of capitalism.
