The starts that most rotation pitchers miss are usually for a blister or some kind of back tightness. They might miss two turns. The 30-start benchmark is still useful but over 6 months, it wavers too much to be much more than a theoretical point of reference. But I don't see a way the Reds will give a lot of thought to shutting anybody down unless there's a nagging injury that poor mechanics might make worse. By mid-June, these three hosses should all be getting 115 pitches per start.
