Not a great final line, but Weaver seemed to have a solid outing. You can clearly see the stuff and why he continues to get chances. Seems to be inconsistent hitting his spots though. Not sure if that's just an early spring training issue or why his career numbers dont seem to match his arm talent.

Maybe this means nothing for the regular season, we'll see, but I can't remember the last time I've enjoyed spring training games this much. This team just has a lot of life to it.

Just watching this game, I see a difference at the plate approach of the batters.. more focused.. I hope this carries into the season

Agreed. I'm trying to not get overly excited on March 8th, but this looks like a legitimate big league lineup. I'm seeing a lot of quality at bats, even from the young guys. This has the feeling of team that has a hitting philosophy that guys are truly buying into.
