    Drink a couple of beers. Forget about the game, except for the fact that Votto batted where he did. The days of him batting in the top-six spots are over. Move on to the next game.

    The day was coming when Votto would be the albatross around the team, including Defense, which is part of pitching and momentum, Offense, base-running, someone who doesn't have to be held accountable for anything, salary, and blocking someone more deserved of playing time.
