    Rehab update: my shoulder is as strong as it’s ever been.

    My elbow is feeling great and I’m throwing baseballs next week. Praise the Lord

    I’m more concerned with the injuries that have overtaken just about every important prospect. Edwin Arroyo is now out with a strained hip. It’s some bad luck to go along with everything else.

    This is why one can’t just write in prospects as winning MLB players in 2023-24.

    There are inevitable detours.

    That said, in time the cream will rise to the top.

    What's good is that, aside from Bryce Bonnin, they're all relatively minor injuries. No Tommy Johns so far, knock on wood.

    I'm not finished dry heaving at the thought of Senzel and his fundamentally poor brand of baseball to go along with his .650 OPS. Benson was off to a terrible start and I can't argue with him going down, but I'd rather they just play with 25 than see more of AAAA Nick.
    All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

    Sure. You never expect it to go smoothly.

    That back injury to Strand is the one that could be long term lingering. But yes everything else seems minor. Although the way Williamson keeps performing makes you wonder.

    So far so good with Senzel, have not heard how he woke up this morning though.

    X-rays were negative on Kevin Newman's left shoulder after the HBP. He was sore but is available off the bench tonight.

    Cincinnati Reds
    @Reds

    The #Reds have returned from a rehabilitation assignment RHP Tony Santillan (right knee discomfort).

    I believe this means he's back on the IL

    Yeah, I don’t think this good news about Santillan.
    She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning
