    Bally Sports announced Thursday

Bally Sports — whose parent Diamond Sports Group LLC filed for bankruptcy protection 10 days ago — announced Thursday that "all games of the Reds 162-game schedule not airing exclusively on a national platform will air on Bally Sports Ohio and the Bally Sports app."

Kathrine Nero was with channel 9 locally here for 20 years. She was very good in a variety of news and entertainment roles there. A good catch for Bally.

if this means less giesensuck or whatever his name is, i like it

    also, more annie sabo.

PS: i know he would be a cool guy to hang out with at the bar. but sam lecure is nails against the chalkboard as a studio analyst. [he's decent as a TV guy who comes on during the game for a few innings.]

    Yay, blackouts!

I knew it was a pipe dream to think Bally Sports would release their vice grip of douchbaggery. Not even bankruptcy can quell the greed.

Yay, so not likely to see any games this way this season. I live in NC, every time I turn it to Bally when it shows a Reds game on the guide its usually poker showing.

Assuming this is indeed true and those of us cord cutters in the area will remain blacked out, does anyone that's tried Fubo TV have any insight on it compared to YTTV? The monthly price is a bit more with the RSN surcharge, so I know that going on, but how do those two compare in terms of the user experience and so forth? Since that's my only realistic option (short of VPN/MLB.TV or pirating, obviously), it's something I'm considering until I inevitably lose interest in watching the Reds and go back to YTTV. I know they offer a seven day trial, which would be helpful.

I went from DIRECTV to Fubo. Now with the addition of RSNs been watching Reds spring training games with no problems. The amount of channels and sports coverage is really good. only missing the History channel i think when compared to DIRECTV Choice package.

Does this mean that the Reds will get their full payment from Bally Sports Ohio for the season?
    Where we gonna go?
