    Best Pitch, 2023 Edition

C Trent has had an interesting question each of the past four seasons: Which Red (and which pitch) is the nastiest in camp?

Four years ago, it was Luis Castillo's two-seam fastball, then three years ago, Castillo's changeup. (That kind of tells you how good Castillo was as a pitcher.) Last year, Greene's fastball won the nastiest pitch award, though Nick Lodolo's breaking ball got quite a few votes.

This season, Lodolo's slider is once again the talk of camp, as are the following:

    - Graham Ashcraft's cutter
    - Graham Ashcraft's fastball
    - Lucas Sims' slider

    Honorable mention went to:
    - Graham Ashcraft's slider (Interesting, that.)
    - Brandon Williamson's curve (Not last night, apparently)
    - Hunter Greene's fastball (again)
    - Buck Farmer's changeup
    - Alex Young's change
    - Levi Stoudt's slider
    - Chase Anderson's change
    - Conner Overton's changeup

Phil Castellini’s “sales pitch” is rather nasty, though not “the best”
