The #Reds today activated IF/OF Nick Senzel from the 10-day injured list and optioned OF Will Benson to Triple-A Louisville.

Benson needs more work at AAA, hope they give him reps in CF occasionally. With the addition of Senzel, Reds now have 10 RHH and 3 LHH among position players. I’d be more worried about this in a contending year, but if Votto gets moved up soon that would help.

David Bell said his message to Will Benson was about getting every day at bats in Triple-A and getting back to the big leagues. “I have no doubt he can help us win.”
He said he was encouraged by some of Benson’s recent at-bats and good signs at the plate.
My guess is that the intention was to send Fairchild down. But he outplayed Benson and got to stay.

At least Legumima is 25 and not 30 something. If they have to go the lotto route, lets at least use guys young enough to actually have some value if they work out. I wholeheartedly endorse giving Legumima a look ahead of Cruz, Herget, Overton, Law, Gibaut or Farmer

Whenever I read Casey Legumima I change it to John Leguizamo and the names are not even that close.
