Richardson has had his head beat in at Louisville the last couple weeks. I don't think he made it out of the first inning the other night. I'd go with Kennedy if you have to.

Now that Phillips is up there’s no need to swap him out.
Reds will use Lively as fifth starter, maybe with an opener.
And they have off days. Plus Spiers is still with club.
They don’t have better choices ready in the minors. I think this is it - as for Starters - maybe until the end.

The Reds optioned Spiers to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
He'll move off the 28-man active roster to clear a spot for right-hander Connor Phillips, whose contract was selected from Triple-A ahead of his scheduled start Monday versus the Twins.
After making his first two big-league appearances with Cincinnati as a starter, Spiers worked out of the bullpen during his latest stint with the Reds. He made his lone relief appearance in Sunday's loss to the Mets, giving up five runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks over three innings.
You're right. I thought lively just pitched 4+ a couple of days ago, but it was on the 14th. I had surgery and missed a couple of days. So Phillips tonight, Lively tomorrow and Greene on Wednesday? Then and off day and Abbott, Williamson and Phillips/Lively on Sunday. Another off day and then back to Greene...
Is that how things line-up? I'd love to avoid any more Richardson or Kennedy.

Myers and Renfro, the Reds are shooting blanks this year with veteran RH's, only a year ago Pham and Drury were the RH finds, oh well.

Whew, finally. And I liked that Renfroe pickup...but man, he's been bad. Dude has popped up more middle-of-the-plate fastballs than anyone I can remember.

Yeah, I'll take Fairchild over Renfroe or Bader. I thought those two guys might help this team in their final stretch, but they didn't do much.
It was a good idea to grab them both, but it didn't work out.

Honestly, what this team has accomplished with all the injuries and inexperience is amazing to me.
