is it just me, or is bell doing a better job with his lineups so far this year? for example, it would not have shocked me in the past for him to sit wil myers today, even though he's coming off one of the best games of his career, just because it's a sunday game, myers has a played a lot already this year, and the reds don't have an off day for a while.

maybe that's not even the best example, i just get a better vibe from bell's lineup construction thus far.

I think its just circumstance so far. Yesterday wasn't a night game. I'd guess if it was, Myers would be sitting today on a day game after a night game. Stephenson was clearly more in need of the day off. He's caught more than I expected this early and he already looks tired.
