way to knock it down, rookie! there ya go. that's one way to get an out. have them rock the ball off your leg right toward first base. two down!

Feel bad for Stoudt who may lose some confidence. Maybe he’ll settle down for an inning or two. It’s a spot start, would have hoped the experience would be more positive.
TB has scored 16 runs (and counting) in the last 10 innings.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.
that reasoning for the balk is complete BS.

I can't remember this many games in April that were over before we had the chance to bat at all.
Hybrid pitching motion? Now we’re using new age millennial terms. Whatever happened to good old fashion windmill windups and tobaccie!
Finally. 6-0 after a half inning.

On the plus side, attendance is so terrible for the Reds, Stoudt didn’t embarrass himself in front of tens of thousands of fans.

in no level of baseball have i ever heard of the rule that the pitcher needs to tell the umpire whether he's going from the stretch or windup when there is a runner on third base. unless the ump is blind (in which case he probably should not be umping) they can easily see which one the pitcher is using. absolute nonsense. it's why david bell is pissed. looking for something to call that is NEVER called.
Stoudt so far has been an improvement over Cessa’s last start.
