    Feel bad for Stoudt who may lose some confidence. Maybe he’ll settle down for an inning or two. It’s a spot start, would have hoped the experience would be more positive.

    These last 2 losses along with this game is reminiscent of the 3-22 start.

    On the plus side, attendance is so terrible for the Reds, Stoudt didn’t embarrass himself in front of tens of thousands of fans.

    in no level of baseball have i ever heard of the rule that the pitcher needs to tell the umpire whether he's going from the stretch or windup when there is a runner on third base. unless the ump is blind (in which case he probably should not be umping) they can easily see which one the pitcher is using. absolute nonsense. it's why david bell is pissed. looking for something to call that is NEVER called.
