Barrero is turning into the major league equivalent of “fetch” from Mean Girls. Stop trying to make Barrero happen. It’s NOT going to happen.

Not sure if he’s a moron. I can say with confidence he’s no longer a good hitter.

Baseball IQ wise? He’s doing whatever dissent work very well.

I’ve just had enough of watching him and Barrero at this point.

I find it hard to blame Barrero too much. How often has he been out there? I find position versatility to be a bit overrated. Not everyone has to be a utility player. Find positions for guys and leave them there.

On Hayes triple, like Schwarber did scoring from first on a hit to the LF corner, Hayes recognized his advantage of running on the same line that the throw would be coming from. Both were safe as one throw plunked Schwarber and the other India chose to throw it high to avoid the runner gave enough time for the runner to make it. So far the difference in the game, similar to last night was a Barerro miscue.

I think they are simply getting ready for the call up of EDLC or McLain to play short. Barrero is not good, so might as well see if he can play other positions.

I guess it doesn’t matter what Senzel does. He is going to play every day. It’s just a joke that this guy is still on the roster.

Much better first inning for Cessa. And that should have been an unearned run.

Once again, the Reds just can't take advantage of opportunities

Just because everyone is doing the multi position versatility stuff doesn’t mean it works for everyone. I remember stone washed jeans being a thing that everyone was doing.

Hanging 0-1 pitch for you India. Famine.

Even then, it seems like they don't know what positions these guys are going to play. I get the Reds are trying to answer a lot of questions right now, but I think there's some value in continuity. How many guys know where they'll be in the field on a given day? India? Maybe Steer?

Once you realize nothing actually matters this season and it’s just a 6 month tryout for the following 2-5 years it will all make a lot more sense to you.

Typical Hill inning. Lots of action but no runs scored.

How many guys on the Reds should know where they are playing on a given day? Again, this is a season long tryout. The reds are finding out Barrero isn’t worth keeping around.
