Not sure how you count AC/DC or the Bee Gees. The Gibbs and the Youngs were born in England, but they were Aussie performers. If they count, I'll go with Hell's Bells, Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell and Back in Black.

If you don't count AC/DC, I'll go with Twilight Zone by Golden Earring or Rock You Like A Hurricane by the Scorpions.

Although I lived in Australia in the early eighties, I won't fill the thread with Split Enz, Cold Chisel, and The Church. At least not til later.

I thought the Mentals were bound for the big time when Elvis Costello heard and produced them, but they were success-proof. For a clue as to why, check, out 'Chemical Travel'. "They call it chemical travel, because it's fairly cheap, it cuts down on your bus fare and it keeps you from going to sleep. . . there's a Maserati on the wardrobe and it's staring into space." Other songs included "If you leave me, can I come too?" and "Bezerk Warriors" about the breakup of ABBA.

Is is really cheating if I use Springsteen singing a Brazilian song in Portuguese at Rock in Rio?

I will go pure and add to songs so similar that I am surprised there hasn't been a law suit.: Trio's Da Da Da

and Pavarotti singing Puccini's "Nessun Dorma"
“The guys we've had for the most part have been serviceable at this level.”

I'm going off the English language board. Here's some French stuff:

    Plastic Bertrand

Les Trois Accords (two entries, though I could easily do a dozen)

    Prototypes

Now there you go. They're touring the U.S. this fall, as is BABYMETAL. My son's going to both.

And since I mentioned BABYMETAL, here's the obligatory "Gimme Chocolate!!".
