Greene has got to start throwing the Changeup. They are teeing off on his Slider and his Fastball, crushing both of them almost every at-bat that contact is made. There's going to be a few more homeruns by Greene given up if he doesn't get some unpredictability going in what he's throwing. You can't go through life as a Starter on two pitches. Major League hitters are just too good.

I love watching Chris Farley bat...

Steer looked pretty funny checking his glove after that catch to see if he got the ball or not.

    That GO was 109.1 mph.

    C'mon, Hunter! Throw the Change!

    Become a little unpredictable.

Greene's keeping the Defense on their toes, if only they don't get their heads taken off by the velocity of the balls coming off the bats of the Mets.

When you have a 50-50 chance at guessing at the right pitch, it makes hitting the ball a heck of a lot easier.

He's never in his 11 years been a guy who makes productive outs. He's at 22%, his career norm. The Major League Average is 28.4%.

He's a negative on any team.

He's 32 and going downhill fast. In 2021, his OPS fell 191 points. In 2022, it fell even further, 55 more points. In 2023, it's pummeling downward even more, another 102 points. There's no surprise here as he only OPS'd 800 or better once in his 11 years in the big leagues.

He swung for the fences his whole career and he got lucky one year, in his age-29 season.

Can't wait until he's gone. There's no future here for him. He's not even someone who should be taking at-bats. I'd rather give them to a career Minor League player who is 30 years old than to Myers.
Put the Reds in a tough spot. They have to play him hope he gets hot and a contender has injuries.
They can't DFA him. I mean they could but do that and Veteran players will never sign with the Reds if they get a reputation of doing that so fast into a contract.

Even a .241 hitter (Guillorme) tees off on your 98mph fastball if he sees it enough.

Greene looks like a 1 pitch pitcher right now. At least get a 2 seam fast ball.

He was crusing this inning then 2 out hit and walk to the #8 and 9 hitters.

Greene's thrown one Changeup so far and it got rocketed at 101.5 mph, but that's happening with his 4-Seam and his Slider, too, so that shouldn't be bothering him, but I'm guessing it does.

What good is our Pitching Coach if he can't help Greene find another pitch to throw?

Right now it's either in the zone and getting smacked or 10" out of the zone.

Almost to 70 pitches now. A lot of those is the inability to put a batter away.

You can't put a batter away if they know what pitch is coming. They'll at least foul it off if it's close to the plate, and then eventually walk.

I blame our Coaches, not Greene, for getting him to the Majors with only two pitches. We've seen this before from the REDS' organization with a good pitcher.

It's just frustrating. The talent is there.

And once again he'll be lucky to make it thru 5.

These guys are seeing the ball really well from Hunter. Even at 100mph he can't get one past them.

I think Lodolo started a game by striking out the side, then fell apart after that, too.
