I don't know how to post the video, but Heart had it all. Ann Wilson is the voice you're looking for and her sister Nancy was the crush.

If you are just talking pure crush, Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles is the winner.

We saw Stevie in concert back in 2011 at a venue near Manassas Virginia. It was very good. She did all of her hits. I always loved Edge of Seventeen. Stevie and Waddy Wachtel lead off the 2nd half of the show with that. She also had her singing coach there and they did Leather and Lace together.
Last night we finished up watching a documentary about her on Tubi. She certainly lead a full life with lots of ups and downs.

Best female rocker voice ever = Ann Wilson. Nancy was an amazing guitarist. Very underrated... and gorgeous!!!

Yep. She's had more ups and downs than a San Francisco city street. I've been a big FM fan since the mid seventies. Saw them in concert several times. If you haven't ever listened to any of the Buckingham-Nicks album, pre-FM, go onto you tube and give a listen. Some darn good stuff from her and Lindsey.

My favorite live performance from Stevie back in her babe days was on the '79 Tusk tour. She really conjured up that that early 20th century dancing girl spirit within her on that night.

This gal rocked the 70's more than the '80's but she was quite a talent. You may know her as Leather Tuscadero from "Happy Days." SUZI QUATRO.

Suzi had a direct influence on Joan Jett. That influence is clearly evident.

When we got our puppy last year, it was our fourth Brittany, I suggested Suzi Quatro, wife didn't like it. So instead she liked Morgan de le Fay, from Arthurian legend, what she didn't know was that was my way of getting a homage to Joe Morgan.

I know she rocked Altamont and Woodstock in the sixties but she was still rocking the '80's with the big hair and powerful voice: GRACE !!!!!

Siouxsie went full icon in the '80s.

Throwing Muses didn't move a lot of units nationally until the '90s, but they broke in the Boston scene in the '80s. They didn't sound like anybody else. Still don't. "Call Me" is a perfect capsule of how they came at you from odd angles, which really hit when you saw them live. It was like your ears were taking a trip. Anyway, when the Tanya harmony section breaks out from the Kristen staccato section in this song, it still drops my jaw.

Rocked the '80's and still rocking today... just as sexy as ever!!!! The look that she gave the female violinist at 2:48 is something else. Amazing voice control! Legit!!!
