Interesting that the scouting grades haven't caught up to the data-- De La Cruz should, according the BA article and the analytics, have three 75 or 80 tools (speed, arm, and power). Instead, he's at 60, 70, and 60.

Six in the top 100 not including CES(who should be there) Petty, and Phillips.

I like this part about Elly:"he’s the kind of player who should have no ceiling placed on him, with the chance to be a true five-tool All-Star sooner rather than later."

I kinda like have an unlimited ceiling guy in our system lol.

Man Jackson Holliday is killing it so far.

I like scouting reports for the broad view of a player beyond the numbers, but the numbers they assign seem bogus and made up most the time.

CES has crushed the ball at all levels and plays defense as well as most at 3rd and 1st in the few dozen games i've watched between this and last year. I tire of the "analyst" stuff. He wasn't ranked high by them so if they rank him high now it means they "missed".

I'd love to see by MLB year 5 for the guys who "make it" to see where they were "ranked" before the draft.... and vice versa.... to see where the top rated players are by then too. My guess is it's less than 50% in both directions.... and maybe much lower than that.

Somebody explain to me how Jackson Chourio is rated above EDLC. I don’t see it in the bio, grades or performance.
