I will add that Suarez has had two good games in a row, so he may be bouncing back. But if Williamson actually becomes a decent MLB pitcher, that trade takes on a whole new look. Miles away from that, to be clear.

It's already a win for us. We don't need another Third Baseman. We've got Senzel (and others should he happen to miss any playing time). We need pitching and the team just got a huge boost of pitching tonight in 5-2/3rd's from a Starter while only giving up one run in a game we had to win to be given a chance to win the Series when the opposing Starter was shutting us out.

Baseball gods prevail. Just when think you will have a 18-17 game you get a tight 3-1 pitching duel. Hopefully the Reds have something good in Williamson. They desperately need another starting pitcher. How long has it been since there was a two hour and 5 minute game in Denver? These new pitch clock rules are working very well IMO.
