He put pressure on and was looking right at the line of of the throw coming in and the 2nd baseman where he was going to receive it, which was to the outside of the bag. Why didn't veer to the inside to make him have to reach the farthest to to tag him, instead relying on a swim move to evade the tag which didn't work and he would have been out except the 2nd baseman didn't catch the ball!
Say what you will about Myers, but he seems to have reached the acceptance phase.
