    That’s sad. She sang several songs I enjoyed.

    Surviving her life with Ike was a remarkable accomplishment itself

    That is sad. She was a remarkable artist and a remarkable woman. Her post-Ike career kicked its trajectory into the stratosphere. She’ll be sadly missed.
