Bell’s trash lineup only plated 4 in the 1st? What a joke.
Probably another 4 inning start. Probably see the new guy for a couple tonight.
Reds fail to score in the second. Bell has been fired.
Lively had Goldschmidt fooled on the first two pitches, then he backed off and got the count full, before attacking him again for a pop out. Wasting some pitches.
And Friedl is taking a planned off day since he is just coming off injury.

Today’s lineup is a result of TJ Friedl’s ramp up process. He didn’t have a rehab assignment, and they’re working him back in.
This seems like a good way to get injured again. Should have given him a day or two at AAA in a lost season.
Edit: Not the day off today, but activating him without giving him a chance to ramp back up.
