Low spin rate (very low by MLB standards), low 90's fast ball.... statwise this guy stinks. Maybe.... just maybe... there's more than stats at play in this game.

That said... I want some 400 foot homers on this guy.

Fairchild's MLB career is a very small sample size, but let's take a look at the minor league numbers (FWIW):

Senzel: OPS of .881 in 974 ABs

Fairchild: OPS of .805 in 1412 ABs

Both are 27 years old.

I would take Senzel over Fairchild for sure. But Fairchild could easily prove me wrong because there is obviously not a big gap either way.
