my mind wanders too much on off days

seems like whenever "we" get on a roll or have a big win an off day spoils the party....kinda like when a guy busts out of a slump and sits on the bench the next day for whatever reason....very frustrating

I'm wondering if Votto does another rehab stint or just shows up in the lineup tomorrow night...isn't it weird that he's on this road trip? I'm surprised the Reds will pay for his room and food

i've seen a ton of guesses about when Elly will make his debut and i noticed that this Fridays homestand opener is an AppleTv game so with me paying for this extra innings package i will freakin' lose my mind if that is indeed the day

I don't doubt the abilities of Elly or Strand in the least but I do wonder what's going on down there in that league when I see Chuckie and Reynolds hitting like Bench and Morgan down there.....even Alejo Lopez has muscled up somehow

finally as this season has unfolded I just always assumed the Cardinals would get it together and eventually pull away from the field(and I guess they still could)but after seeing the starting pitching it made me feel a ton better about the Reds chances to contend if things fall right. It's a big ask to have Williamson, Lively, and Weaver continue to constantly give "us" a chance every time out but stranger things have happened i suppose

Getting Lodolo back healthy and having Abbott in AAA makes me optimistic that the SP can be ok. Like you mentioned the offense in AAA has been crazy which makes what Abbott is doing even more impressive.

The offense in AAA has been crazy. But, promotion to the Bigs has not slowed down McLain. The Reds are gaining nothing by keeping De La Cruz down there, especially when Benson is using up a roster spot (not to mention carrying 3 catchers).
