Pretty amazing the Reds took 2/3 in this series. Boston is a much better team and actually out played Cincinnati overall in this series.
I don’t think Salazar pitched scared enough. He was going right after hitters at the heart of the plate.

What? Are you high? The reds were up 8-0 late in the game in game 1 and it took a rookie reliever ****ting his pants on the mound to make it close.

Lower tier relievers couldn't finish the game Tuesday, giving up most of the 8 run lead, forcing upper tier participation and weakening the availability for the next 2 games. Slid by the 2nd game, but not tonight. Some better offensive efficiency earlier tonight could have gotten a bigger lead and maybe pulled it out, but it was not to be! It is difficult to have long winning streaks with starts not going far without blowing them out about every 3rd game and using only low tier to finish the game.

Still a good series. They could possibly make ownership think about maybe making some bullpen moves if they can show up against the Brewers this weekend.
