The coolest Elly De La Cruz story I heard: One day in Triple-A, he was 0-for-4 with some strikeouts. A teammate hit a walk off, and Elly was the first one out of the dugout to dump the cooler on him and celebrate.
He really loves playing baseball.

In Reds history, they’ve only signed and developed four position players from the Dominican Republic to the big leagues. Elly De La Cruz will soon be the fifth.
