You don't bring up a talent like Elly to sit him on the bench. He's starting. Just don't expect miracles. The starting rotation didn't get a whole lot better.

    Still....HE"S HERE HE"S HERE HE"S HERE!

Reports are, India has been taking ground balls at third the last week or so, which would seem to make sense for everyone concerned.

At 21 years and 146 days old, Elly De La Cruz will be the youngest player to play for the Reds since Jay Bruce in 2008.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

If you guys will excuse me, I’m going to refresh the GameCast page for tonight’s game every 15 seconds until the lineup shows up.

I've not been this excited about a Red prospect call-up in quite some time.

    Perhaps ever.

Bruce, Kearns, and Dunn were big, but this has the feeling of expectancy. Fate.

I don't remember a "backlash" when Jay Bruce first struggled as a rookie.

Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Thats's gotta be the IF set up for now to see how that looks.

    India - 3B
    EDLC - SS
    McLain - 2B
    Steer - 1B

So sounds like McLain to sliding over to 2B and India is moving to 3B.

When you look at his performance on the field, age, size, and his measurable showing him to be the fastest, most powerful hitter, and powerful thrower in all levels of the sport, I think you could easily make the argument he's the best prospect in professional sports since LeBron James.

They need to drop a catcher, reduce Stephenson’s DH time, and bring up CES as DH.

Let’s get all the cards on the table,

Hmm I don't recall, my memories from 2008 are a little fuzzy. It could have something to do with it being my last year of college.

I just look at how quickly some of the fan base soured on Hunter Greene for not being Walter Johnson on Day 1. But maybe that's just the Twitter urchins.
