    Perhaps ever.

Bruce, Kearns, and Dunn were big, but this has the feeling of expectancy. Fate.
Those are great names. Mine was Homer Bailey. Like you, I think Cruz takes that top spot now.

It seems that super 2 status did not play a role in the decision of when to call him up

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

First big minor leaguer I remember coming up with anticipation was Danny Driessen. It wasn't quite like this for DeLaCruz but there was some excitement.

June 6 for number 44. An appropriate day to turn the direction of history.

Stay healthy. Stay focused. Stay humble. You’ll be legendary.

Welcome to The Show Elly De La Cruz!

I can see it...guys at Redszone, rubbing their hands together with an evil grin...hardly able to hold back the enthusiasm of the thought of trashing the first guy to offer the least bit criticism of De La Cruz.

This is definitely D-Day For DeLaCruz. Lets hope he can get a good foothold on the beaches of MLB today.

Re: Welcome to The Show Elly De La Cruz!

Man I'm late lol. We probably split the Brewers series with him in the lineup.

I think we need to give the 21 year old some time to adjust, but at each level in the minors after he makes the adjustment he's been as good as anyone. My most hyped Reds prospect since since I've been following the Reds in the mid 80's.

Eh, you'll always have those people. They're not worth my time. I'm rarely as positive of a person as I'd like to be, but sports are so inconsequential in the grand scheme of things I can't imagine being that negative about them.
