And then you throw in an 80 arm and 80 power who has quick hands at the plate with the ability to go inside out and drive a pitch the other way. Incredible.

The impact his speed has on a game is just unquantifiable. His three steals today... I mean...

First he stole second, then he stole third; next he stole home. Ultimately, he stole every baseball fan's heart.

Elly is a dangerous, dangerous dude. Off the charts on every tool, including a high baseball IQ. I would say his ceiling is the Michael Jordan of MLB.

Watching one player take the wind out of the entire Brewers team's sails.

And the "Elly" chants, no matter what stadium he is at.

I'm not sure I have seen anyone like him, live and in person.

I’m ten years maybe they’ll be saying Michael Jordan was the Elly De La Cruz if basketball.

    Truth.

Between Acuna and EDLC, I'm guessing we might get an NL SB Champ in the 80s sooner than later.

    (Maybe this season.)

This is even better. The rules stop endless throws over to first base and just holding the ball.

It's off to the races, baby!! And we've got the thoroughbreds!

Finally we're on the right end of a formerly undervalued asset.

Except he doesn't try to hurt players like Cobb did. The Georgia Peach was an infielder's nightmare.
