    I'm glad you didn't.

    Why isn't he at SS? If he's the best SS prospect in the organization (and everyone tells me he is), then he shouldn't be pushed off the position for a lesser player.
    Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

    Charlie Goldsmith
    @CharlieG__

    When asked about his goals for this year, Elly De La Cruz says doing whatever it takes to win and helping the Reds get to the playoffs.

    David Bell said Elly will play third and short. He said he’s keeping options open and will move players around the field.

    “It’s pretty clear to me that we’re going for it. As quick as we possibly can. We’re also doing what’s best for each of these players.”

    Calling EDLC up today means he still could be a super 2 player and eligible for an extra year of arbitration. The date is different every year, depending on when other players are called up the rest of this season. There is no way for any team to know the exact date.

    If the Reds were trying to manipulate EDLC’s service time, they would not be calling him up today, they would be waiting at least a few more weeks.

    Simply not true. If they weren't being cheapasses, he'd have been up for the Brewers series, possibly even when they played the Red Sox.

    As big a disappointment as Dunn was, in recent memory the player that gave me the greatest disappointment about what could have been was Josh Hamilton. I remember watching the 2008 HR derby where the whole baseball world was buzzing about what they were witnessing and all I could think was “If only he could have been doing this as a Red”

    Well maybe we have that guy now 👍

    I lost all faith and confidence in this team when they started calling themselves THE Reds.
