Going back through old grids and just set a new personal best, an HOF/.300 batter box for 0.0005%. Too bad it was on an old grid I had abandoned after getting a miss so my score will still stink

    Re: Immaculate Grid

I had my lowest score on a past grid today at 15. It was grid #8. I got the lowest score on one that I had ever had at .01% for the Braves HOF. I just read a book on that particular player and was hoping I could use him sometime.

I haven't been doing the new ones. I learned about the grid in early July. I been doing the ones from April lately. But haven't been doing very well on those.

I always remember him because in June 1982 he was effectively traded for himself in a three-way trade between the Blue Jays, Pirates, and Phillies.

Nordhagen was traded by the Blue Jays to the Phillies for OF Dick Davis, then was traded the same day by the Phillies to the Pirates for OF/1B Bill Robinson. After playing one game for the Pirates, it was discovered that he had a preexisting back injury, so he was placed on the restricted list, then traded by the Pirates back to the Blue Jays for OF Dick Davis (the same guy who had gone from TOR to PHI in the earlier deal)!

So basically, the Pirates had traded Bill Robinson to the Phillies for Dick Davis, with Davis playing three games for the Blue Jays and Nordhagen playing one game for the Pirates along the way.

Also, Wayne Nordhagen's nephew is Kevin Millar.
