Loved Pee Wee, TV, films.. even as the Tucker Cobblepot in Batman

I am not too far from his social circles and, by all accounts I’ve heard, he was a really nice, thoughtful guy. However, hard for me to not think about his legal troubles and the really dark places in to which they waded.

There was a new Herman movie within the last 6-7 years that was dropped on Netflix and I heard nothing further about. It was noticeably more tame and low budget as far as its scope but I remember it being ok enough (?).

I feel a bit conflicted about his legacy myself. Loved the show growing up. But that latter incident...if you read all of the evidence (and even watch the NBC interview) I personally think it points to him knowing what he had in his collection while trying to justify or characterize it differently. Maybe he was innocent, but it just didn't seem so. Just my opinion.

The "case" was pretty weak.

Not really the spirit of the law. Ask yourself: why no felony? Cause it was pretty lame.
